Good evening lovers!
We’re back today with a little something special. As you all know, we’re ringing in 2016 tonight, and what better way to do it than with a glamorous Gatsby look to match that classy champagne of yours.
Today’s look really emphasizes that glittery smokey eye, with a little signature modern twist of our own ;).
We started off the face with Revlon’s Photo Ready Primer and Brightener, MAC’s Prolonger Concealer in NW15 and Revlon’s Photo Ready Airbrush Effects Foundation in two shades 003- Shell and 010-Caramel. We used the Shell shade all over the high points in the face and contoured with Caramel. It was all set with ELF’s HD Setting Powder.
We slabbed on some MAC 24hour Extend Eye Base Primer and protected the under eyes with ELF’s HD Under Eye Setting Powder and got started with the eyes.
Jen used MAC’s Fluidline Backtrack Eyeliner and STILA’s black eyeshadow in Reason. She threw in a bit of STILA’s grey eyeshadow in Twilight. In the crease, Jen applied STILA’s eyeshadow in the shade Observation. Below on the brow bone she used MAC’s eyeshadow in the shade Blanc Type. For the smokey eye Laura Mercier’s Baked Eye Colour in Charcoal.
To line the inner corners of my eyes and a bit of the under eyeliner she applied NYX’s NYX Glam Liner in GLA04. Over top of that she put Too Faced Glitter Glaze in the shade Goldie Rocks. All over the top of the lid she used Too Faced Glitter Glaze in Silver Spark.
On the brows she used ELF’s Brow Kit in Dark.
On the lips went on MAC’s Coral Bliss and MAC’s Lip Glass in Beaute. Jen applied MAC’s Sculpting Powder in a nice warm pink blush on the cheeks and also used some MAC Highlighting Powder in Emphasize and Soft Focus to finish off the look.
And taaa daaa!!
