MERRY CHRISTMAS LOVERS ☺️🎄❤️
To wrap up our first ever Christmas Cookbook we decided to save this fun and creative look for last. Again, this is probably not something you would throw on your face before Christmas dinner but something ultimately Christmasy to look at.
We used our regular foundation routine that consists of Revlon’s Photo Ready Foundation in 005 with a tad of Make Up For Ever’s 12 Flash Colour case green, yellow and brown. Some ELF HD lifting concealer in “Light”, and topped it off with Revlon’s Photo Ready Eye Primer and Brightener.
To get that super rose look on the cheeks Jen used MAC Casual Colour Lip and Cheek Colour in “Young at Heart”. She applied quite a generous amount to really emphasize the pink cheeks.
For the eyes Jen applied our beloved MAC fluidline in Blacktrack to line the eyes and also to outline the whole eye. To get that candy effect, she used Make Up For Ever’s 12 Colour Flash Case, in White (010), Red (024) and Leaf Green (008).
I applied each colour one at a time and set with Cinema Secrets Special FX light touch powder in Colourless between each colour.
To put a splash of coordinating colour on the lips Jen threw in some of Make Up For Ever 12 Colour Flash case in Red (024) with a clear gloss over top to add shine.
And I ended up looking like I jumped out of a 1980’s Cartoon Christmas movie!! We hope you guys enjoyed this fun and playful look as much as we did. Over the last 12 days we showed you a variety of looks that go from simple and sweet to outstandingly artsy, and we hoped to have sparked a tiny bit of inspiration in you. When it comes to makeup, anything is possible so be creative beauties!
We hope you have the most amazing day filled with all of the love and positivity this world has to offer (and candy of course, lots of candy)!
Be sure to revisit in the New Year to see what we have in store for 2016 😁
On behalf of myself, Jen, and Danielle, I would like to say Merry Christmas from our Modern Makeup Family to yours. I can say that this has been a crazy fun experience full of early mornings, trial and error, coffee and christmas.
See you in the New Year ☺️🎉
