As a professional makeup artist currently in their 12th year of being a freelance artist I have worked with hundreds of professionals in the industry; most commonly, photographers.

Every now and then, I meet someone who stands out above the rest. Someone who’s work ethics, skills and personality make them the full package.

Today I want to focus on someone very special, whom I have known and worked with many times in the past 11 years. Someone who inspires me to continue to learn and develop my skills and always strive to take on new challenges.

My friend Alissa Balatzar is a professional wedding photographer based in Brantford, ON.

I met Alissa back in 2015 during a fashion photoshoot. Since then, we have organized creative shoots and worked together many many times. Every time I work with Alissa she blows my mind with a new skill she has learned.
