It’s the day before Christmas Eve! 😁😁
And although it may not feel like it quite yet (someone please make it snow), we’ve definitely been in the spirit. Today we thought we’d switch it up a little bit. You see, the original plan here was to put the emphasis on the lips and keep the eyes simple and sweet, but of course when working with Jen, she can’t give you 50%, she goes all out. So we ended up with both a dramatic eye and lip that was pulled together nicely with some cheesy christmas colours and pig tails! Enjoy 🙂
For the face Jen started off with Revlon’s Photoready Photoready Eye Primer and Brightener, used MAC Pro Longer Foundation in NC30 and threw in MAC ProLongwear Concealer in NW15 as a highlight. After that went on ELF’s HD Undereye Setting Powder and MAC’s 24H Extended Eye Base.
For the eyes she used NYX’s Jumbo Eye Pencil and dabbed it in the middle of the eye and blended it out to make the product show better and swept on MAC’s Fluidline Eyeliner in Black Track with Brush 266. She used MAC’s Electric Cool Eyeshadow in shade “In Orbit” all over lid as a base and just a tad of Make Up For Ever in the Gold shade in the 12 Flash Colour Case in the inner corner as a highlight and a very gentle gold sparkle.
Jen used MAC’s Sculpting Powder in Bone Beige to add definition to the crease (even though its a contour kit, you gotta get creative people!).
On the face went on Estee Lauder Pure Colour Blush in Hot Sienna.
Now for our fancy betty boop lips Jen used He said She said MAC Prolonger Lip Liner and Revlon’s Photo Ready Eyeliner lined in Black (giving it that super dark smudged edge). Working her way in, she applied MAC Russain Red lipstick as the darkest red, then MAC Ruby Woo and MAC Lady Danger.
And added the finishing touch with a dab of Anna Sui Lip Gloss in shade 850 which is a gold sparkle that was placed right in the centre of my lip.
